The Event

Founded in 2002 by Natsagdorj "George" Tserendorj, Playtime Festival has grown from a single-day showcase of Mongolia's emerging rock and indie artists into a major international gathering spanning multiple stages, genres, and generations. The 2026 edition takes place from 2–4 July at Playtime Field in Nalaikh — a purpose-built, eco-conscious venue approximately 50 kilometres from the city centre — with a daily capacity of 30,000 attendees and a programme that spans rock, pop, indie, hip-hop, metal, and electronic music.
