How long does it take to get to Gelora Bung Karno, JIS or JIExpo?

Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) and Indonesia Arena, Senayan. Around 15 to 25 minutes by car, longer on major event nights when Sudirman and the Semanggi interchange fill up. The MRT is often the smarter way in: Bundaran HI station is a short walk away, with a direct ride south to Istora Mandiri or Senayan, both beside the GBK precinct.

Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta. Around 25 to 35 minutes by car on a normal evening, or 45 to 60 minutes on concert nights, heading north via Thamrin and the inner ring road towards Ancol and Tanjung Priok.

JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Around 20 to 30 minutes by car, north via the Kemayoran corridor.
 

How do I avoid traffic after a concert in Jakarta?

On concert nights, the area around the stadium becomes packed and unpredictable, even while the rest of Jakarta keeps moving as usual. The hardest part is the last stretch to and from the venue, especially at stadiums without a direct MRT link, such as Jakarta International Stadium and JIExpo Kemayoran.
